Webworks offers two plans for website hosting. Your choice of plans depends mostly on how much traffic you expect your site to receive. Most websites generally fit into the basic plan.

The basic plan allows for 1 GB of traffic per month and 50 MB of disk storage space. This is a great deal more then it sounds like. Most websites only comprise 5 -15 MB of disk space and much less then the maximum 1 GB of traffic. If you expect 1000’s or even millions of visitors then you will need to upgrade to additional plans that are available upon request.

Webworks is NOT in the business of hosting sites; we are in the business of building sites! However, we do act as a re-seller of server space primarily for ease of website uploading and FTP (file transfer) access for our customers.

Plans include POP3 e-mail accounts, e-mail forwarding, site traffic analyzers, “shopping carts” and much more.

Just a few TIPS!

There is literally thousands of hosting companies all across the country. You do NOT have to host with a company that is locally located. It is very common to host with a company located in a completely different state. If you are shopping then you need to ask yourself these questions.

How much traffic do I expect?
How many e-mail accounts do I need?
Who is going to be uploading or changing my site?
Do I need secure credit card transactions?

Finally, if you are not satisfied with the hosting company you are with, or with Webworks hosting services, you can always change!

It is not difficult to change, however, you can expect a day or two of downtime while your DNS (to your .com name) is re-directed to the hosting companies server.

Uploads

All Webworks sites include uploading to the server of your choice. In addition, you receive the entire site on CD disk so you can upload it yourself as well as having your own copy.

Changes to your site

If you require any changes or updates then Webworks offers update services based on an hourly rate of $35 per hour. Most content pages and/or images files can be updated in less then 2 hours. We require that the changes be in electronic file format (on a disk or as an e-mail attachment).

If you need your changes to include new graphics or logos then of course this is what we do! Just ask for a quote on any graphic needs!

If you would rather host with the provider that you are currently with, or prefer to use another company then this is NOT a problem. Webworks can either upload your site to your preferred “host” or you can upload the site yourself. (All sites are available on a CD disk).
